Malinka ("we", "us") helps you learn Russian through music. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using Malinka you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: your name and email address when you register.
- Learning data: words you save, your progress, streaks and statistics.
- Payment data: handled entirely by our payment provider (LemonSqueezy). We never see or store your card details.
- Technical data: basic device/browser info needed to run the app.
2. How we use your data
- To provide the service and sync your progress across devices.
- To manage your account and subscription.
- To improve the app and respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
3. Third-party services
We use trusted providers to operate Malinka:
- Supabase — secure database & authentication.
- LemonSqueezy — payments and subscriptions.
- DeepL — word translations.
- Cloudflare / Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
4. Data storage & security
Your data is stored on secure servers (EU region) with row-level security, so each user can only access their own data. Passwords are encrypted and never visible to us.
5. Your rights
You can at any time:
- Access and update your data in the app.
- Delete your account and all associated data (Profile → Delete account).
- Request a copy of your data by emailing us.
6. Children
Malinka is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.
